... We were welcome here ? There were four of us and we came from Bernauer Strasse. Followed the wooden sign beer garden ... After I got an acorn from the big trees on my head, we were warmly welcomed and sat down. The drinks menu came promptly. Selection small but nice. We ordered from tea to coffee and whites ... to plum cake and french fries ... Everything was delicious, fresh, chilled to hot ... And quickly at the table. Every now and then a nice saying from the owner ... All in all a nice stopover ... If we're in the area, gladly again ..... ???

We did go up on our bikes, but then the landlord came. A beer garden without a bicycle parking space is also rare, but then the landlord still insults you. Never again.

A very nicely located beer garden with a view of the lake. Food and drinks are very good. Homemade potato salad and curry sausage, also served with french fries, which looked very tasty, and homemade bread are recommended. A nice innkeeper who values ​​his guests and takes the time to talk. We will definitely be back and will recommend you!

We were allowed to enjoy a relaxing afternoon here yesterday. From the beer garden, you have a beautiful view of the Lehnitzsee and you can escape the stress of everyday life very well. Despite the full tables, the team is very quick and careful. The owners lend a hand and always have a cool saying on their lips. Here you can feel the fun at work and the attention to detail. The dishes are homemade and you can taste that too. We decided on the XL currywurst with the homemade curry sauce. There was also a slice of bread, which surprisingly was also homemade. Delicious !!! Keep it up ! We'd love to come back ;-)

We were here again at the end of August 2020 and were pleasantly surprised, we liked it a lot, the cake was delicious, the service was quick. We'd love to come back again.

Very quiet beer garden with a small snack, where there is a lot of homemade. Down to earth and friendly. A nice stop for hikers and cyclists.

Ordered a coke. First of all it was definitely Pepsi, was warm and worst of all it wasn’t even carbonated meaning the bottle had been stored for a long time. If you can’t get something as simple as a coke right then I wouldn’t recommend. Outside furniture was also really uncomfortable.

The expulsion is obviously part of the "good" tone here. As Oranienburgers, we know the Waldhaus from earlier times. It was a nice destination. Unfortunately, the old owners gave up the restaurant and beer garden a long time ago. We were all the more pleased that at least the beer garden had found a new operator. However, he apparently does everything for it - not wanting to receive any guests. What happened? We were cycling today, stopped and wanted to have a coffee. The beer garden is laid out in small terraces, nothing spectacular - no flowers, no lawn. Small stairs lead to the next terrace. Granted, hopping down from one terrace to the other may not be the intended way to get from one terrace to the next, but ultimately it's nothing that would justify a noisy expulsion. But here in the Waldhaus it is always enough to lure the new operator and waiter out of the kitchen in a rage. In an incomprehensible rage, the operator came roaring towards us to suddenly give us a moral sermon in front of all the guests, which was so exaggerated that there is hardly a descriptive comparison for it. All that was missing was for him to strike back. In a way that I've never experienced before, he then refused to serve and accompanied us back to our bikes. Every NORMAL innkeeper would have taken it easy, people there are stairs, it doesn't have to be that someone hurts - and that would have been it. Woe to anyone who comes with children - who might get the same idea because the terraces are not cordoned off. Who now thinks, yes, logical when young, pubescent guys go to the beer garden ... We were 2 couples, in our mid 30s, who wanted to have a coffee. In this respect, we can only confirm what Fabian F. previously wrote as a review, who was thrown out here with the family. Don't go in!

I can only strongly advise against a visit. Here you are not only bullied by the owner, our order was canceled by him and we were kicked out ... but here's the whole story: After a long walk with our children, we were hungry and the five of us sat down at a table for four. We asked the employee twice for a fifth chair. Since after a few minutes there was still no further chair, we allowed ourselves to take a chair from another table (there were still a few tables unoccupied, so there were enough chairs), because slowly a child no longer wanted to sit on it Sitting on your lap. In between, we were able to order drinks and food from the employee. Now, surprisingly, it only took a few seconds and the owner of the restaurant was at our table. He pestered us in an aggressive tone of what we allow ourselves to take a chair from another table, something he does not tolerate in his restaurant. We kindly pointed out that we have already asked for a chair twice but have not received one and what is so bad about taking a chair from an unoccupied table. But no, unfortunately you are not allowed to take a chair in your restaurant, not even if you have been waiting for a few minutes and the children are slowly getting restless. We were all shocked by the unfriendly and aggressive nature and indicated that we can leave the beer garden again if guests are apparently unwanted. The owner disappeared briefly, then came back and continued to abuse us. He was in the kitchen in the meantime and canceled our meal order! We can now finish our drinks, they even go on the house, but there is nothing for us to eat. Hello? In response to my calm statement "If I would treat my customers like that ..." I suddenly had to please leave his restaurant immediately. Now we were even kicked out, and all because we got a chair from the next table. Conclusion: never again!
